Hi! My name is Stella, and I am a Master’s student in Design Impact at Stanford.

I draw upon a background in psychology to bring empathy and human-centered approaches to my work. I am fascinated with learning about people in their environments and leveraging that context to inform meaningful innovation. Most recently, this has led me to strategy, discovery, and iterative work in product development as a user researcher.

I enjoy working on complex challenges that keep me on my toes about assumptions and enable me to generate solutions to help others with disparate realities from mine. I started my work with expert users, tackling the challenge of capturing tribal knowledge in software and ensuring data-driven insights are provided at the right time and place in their work. I now seek to bring that commitment to underserved patients and caretakers in the healthcare space through the end of life.

In my spare time, I love to read physical books, travel to new places, and create art pieces to bring joy to other people.
